Since 1983, developing student-athletes from junior level through elite Division I competition and beyond
Maintained 100% graduation rate throughout her tenure. Her players earned WGCA All-Scholar Team Distinctions 30 times.
The UW Women's Golf Team earned a berth in the NCAA Regionals in all but one of 30 possible seasons.
Mary Lou was one of the first women to receive a golf scholarship at UW, where she was a four-year letter winner (1976-1980)
Led University of Washington Women's Golf Team to Team Championship against Stanford in the 35th annual NCAA Division 1 Women's Collegiate Golf tournament.
Honored for her multi-sport success (golf and basketball) at Grant High School, where she was also inducted in the Grant High School Hall of Fame as an individual and for her team as the 1974 State Champions

Under her leadership, UW Women's Golf Team secured berth in the NCAA Regionals 29 out of 30 possible seasons, and won the NCAA Division 1 Championship against Stanford (2016).
